Brightridge is primarily a place for me, Edward Huff, to share my artwork, my vision and travels through my life's journey. I am a painter, photographer and videographer and from time to time I attempt to write things down. . . On this site you will discover the artwork I create and the style I have developed through his years of on location creation of images. I paint from direct observation, on location and like to share my vision with others. There is a beauty in the ordinary things of everyday life that i like to try to capture. Recently i has been exploring more and more natural and wilderness scenes. Carol, my wife and partner for almost fifty years, is also a creative mind and both Carol and I love to travel. We have had the good fortune to cruise across the Atlantic on a small sailboat without incident. Americas Great Loop, an almost 7,000 mile journey by water around the eastern half of the United States was accomplished in a continuous year of cruising and living aboard our boat. We have kayaked in the Atlantic, Pacific, Caribbean and the Sea of Cortez. Carol and I regularly explore by automobile the byways of the US and every weekend finds us hiking the trails of new England. I am always dragging my cameras, drones and paints where ever we go. Follow our journey on our blog.
The summer of 2017 will hopefully bring a couple of months of travel around the North America continent traversing Canada and the USA and their respective National Park Systems. That journey and my artwork will be chronicled and displayed here on Brightridge. Please join in on our meager adventure this summer, enjoy some imagery, and if you are so inclined, purchase a print or an original painting or photo from the store. Thank you for taking the time to read this, I appreciate your visit.

A point of information: Currently the Brightridge domain is a redirect to Squarespace. Through foolishness on my part I inadvertently locked the domain for 60 days so it will remain a redirect until sometime in July. Hey, I'm new at this.
