t was a quick getaway in Echo, as the night before we had made plans to make a stop in Pendleton, Oregon, the home of Pendleton Wool products. We love wool things. We had stopped here at the factory outlet in 2019 when we were heading west and it is worth a second look. We found a great little place with plenty of parking, called Roosters, in Pendleton, for breakfast. We each had an omelet. I got one filled with meat and saved a lot of the meat for Harper who was waiting patiently in the Doodle.
As we drove through Pendleton we found that it was a very comfortable town, a place where you could raise family and live out your life. Nice. We found the outlet and arrived a few minutes before it opened, a good time for more planning.
Our stop for the night was Twin Falls, Idaho, so we scouted the area for things to do. Carol found a place called Shoshone Falls. We figure we will do that tomorrow morning before heading on to Idaho Falls, where we plan to camp in a Cabelas parking lot. The mill opened and Carol went shopping while Harper and I did walking tour of the grassy spots. Carol returned with a bag of things.
We seem to be running out of space to put all the things we are picking up along the way. I had found an RV park in Twin Falls called the 93 RV Park, for a reason we couldn't figure out. Before we pulled in we did a bit of grocery shopping, forgetting the appropriate amount of things, so we can stop and do another shopping in the morning.
The RV park was quite nice, lots of room, nice sites, a clean dog park, which Harper enjoyed a few times. We made friends with Suzy and Harold. Harold was Shiz Zhou ( no idea how to spell this and am without internet connection as I am typing - first world problem) Harold was just a puppy and they romped and played as Suzy and I chatted. They have a large Class A towing a car, been traveling all over for quite a while and are heading for the west coast. We made a light supper and watched the sunset and made plans for the morning, fuel, a stop at the market and on to Shoshone Falls. All within a few miles.
